A replaceable charcoal filter removes bad tastes and odors. Snap the included clear plastic lid over the reservoir to prevent it from becoming accidentally detached. A pre-filter catches hair and other large particles before they reach the motor. A submersible pump allows the Platinum Pet Fountain to run nearly silently. A handy splash guard keeps water inside the fountain and off your floor. Rubber feet keep the fountain firmly in place. Runs on a low-voltage 12-volt system with inline disconnect for easy plug removal.
