My cat thoroughly enjoys this food, and she can be a picky eater. She would not touch the other flavors of Blue Buffalo, before they changed the shape and style of the food. But she eats the Longevity. I also feed this brand to my dogs.

Blue Buffalo uses high quality ingredients and no cheap fillers like corn and wheat. It is all natural, with no by-product meals, which means your cat is not eating hooves and beaks. With the pet food scares recently, I am very picky about what to feed my pets. I feel that Blue is safe, especially since it is manufactured in the U.S.

My 11-year-old cat is very pioky. She will allow nothing to pass her lips except dry cat food and water...no canned cat food, milk, meat, cheese, treats...nada. So it is almost impossible to give her any kind of medication. She had developed a cough and showed some other signs of aging. After reading about the benefits of a grain-free diet I got Wellness Core for her, which she enjoyed right from the beginning . But I got too enthusiasitic about finding something she enjoyed so much, and increased the percentage of the new food too fast. She got the first stomach upset of her life with diarrhea and vomiting and feeling bad for a day, but recovered after a 24-hour fast. I backed up with the new food, and now, after about six weeks, I am up to about half the Wellness and the rest her old dry food. She is doing fantasticly! Her coat is lovely and silky, and she plays more than ever. The coughing has stopped. Her stools are great and there has been no vomiting except for two fur balls. I am delighted with the results of the change to Wellness Core.

My cat goes crazy for this wet food. When he was younger (about 7 months ago), I tried to give him the same brand dry food supplemented with this wet food, but we had vomit problems with the wet food. When I re-introduced this wet food about a month ago because I was concerned about only giving him dry food, it was like night and day. He gobbles it all up every day, and there have been no vomit issues whatsoever. He knows that morning time is when he gets his morsels, and he sits in the middle of the kitchen and cries until I give it to him.

I like that this food comes in larger chunks rather than tiny shredded pieces. It reduces the mess the cat makes in and around his bowl. I also like that there are few artificial ingredients, just like the same version dry food. The cans are only 3 ounces each, which is small if this were the only food you're feeding your cat, but for our purposes of half a can supplement a day, it's perfect. I just feed half a can and put the other half in the fridge for the next day.

My little 8 year old Devon Rex has always had a very sensitive stomach and probably has IBS. I have tried possibly all brands of pet food, and she had been doing OK, not great, on the California Natural brand. Lately her tummy has been acting again (I'll spare you the unpleasant details on how I found out) so I decided it was time to try something else, and that's when I found the Halo cat food at my local Whole Foods.
It's very expensive, but I thought it might be worth a try.
Well, a month later, I'm pleased to report 200% success. The Devon's stomach is settled, and my other cat (a 2 year old rescue mutt) is doing great on it as well.
The unexpected benefit? No more stinky poo smell in the room where the litterbox is! This alone would be worth the higher price, but it's also good in these days of tainted pet food to know the manufacturer is dedicated to producing healthy, nutritious food for our beloved pets.

Well worth the premium price and highly recommended. Try getting the 20lbs bag if you can as it's significantly cheaper per pound than the 3 and 6 pound bags.
