Today was the first time my cats have had this brand of food and they were too funny with it! I split a can between the 2 of them to ward off any problems that could arise with a new food. They were having Natural Balance turkey and giblets for dinner, so I put that on one side of their bowls and the Tiki Cat Hana Luau on the other side. They both sniffed it and ate a little but then both dove into their turkey, which in all fairness, is one of their favorites. They kept coming back to the Tiki food though and then would look at it and eat some more. It didn't take either of them long to decide it was acceptable to them. After all, they probably figured I try so hard to give them the best, they would go along with it. Too funny! They did both lick their bowls clean and thoroughly enjoyed their first dinner at Tiki's. I will be adding this food to their menu, but only the varieties that don't contain they synthetic vitamin K - menedione sodium bisulfate.

When you open a can, you see sardine cutlets. Looks and smells just like human grade sardines in a can. Great thing is these are balanced for a feline diet with all the needed vitamins and minerals.

Very good quality cat food and the cats enjoy it. Made at a human food factory with human grade ingredients. I try to use this brand, BFF, Weurva and then for dry food Orijen cat food. My Himalayan cats are on a no grain, no gluten/filler diet. This wet food in combination with the dry has led to great coats, no hair balls, good energy and solid not too stinky poo :)

I guess kitties are suckers for any food with fish mixed in, but I have to say, two thumbs up to Tiki cat. This cat food is quite expensive compared to other good brands but my kitten loves it and it agrees with her system. I gain some comfort from knowing it's 50% chicken since I know cats are not meant to eat too much fish.

I've been feeding my cats Tiki Cat's fish-based cat foods for a while, so when I saw that Tiki Cat also has chicken cat food I just had to try it out, and I am very glad I did. Although my cats would be happy to eat nothing but fish for every meal I try to feed them a balanced diet with protein from chicken, lamb and beef as well. This is a very nice chicken cat food: each of these tiny cans is jam packed with chicken shreds that look tastier than most canned chicken intended for people to eat (though as I am a vegetarian I haven't tried eating this food myself :-)

This chicken is certified delicious by my two fussy felines, who ate up everything I gave them and then begged for more. And as an animal loving pet owner I am very glad that the label of each can makes it clear that no dolphins were harmed when they rounded up all the chickens. I only hope they managed to keep the whales out of the chicken farm as well.

Over the last couple of years, I can't begin to tell you how many healthy moist cat foods I have tried, only to have the product sit in the cat bowls untouched.
I had just about given up on finding any moist food that Kali and Kipton would even consider eating. But much to my surprise, my two picky eaters love, love, love this stuff! The little stinkers wake me up every morning now crying for their "Tiki Cat" tuna flavors (can't believe the variety that's offered). You would think they haven't eaten in weeks. The minute their bowls are down, they inhale this food like it's their last supper. Tiki Cat has made a believer out of me!

One of my cats is diabetic so it's always difficult to find food that a) they'll both eat and b) doesn't have rice or potato in it. They LOVE these TikiCat foods! They're little Tiki addicts! The TikiCat has a line with rice that's very obviously noted on the labels which makes it very easy to avoid. The TikiCat doesn't affect my diabetic cats blood sugar at all. Highly recommend for all cats, diabetic or not.

This looks like real food! The chicken is actual chicken shreds, not some amorphous grey paste. The other TikiCat varieties are similar - the fish looks like fish, you can see pieces of leafy greens, etc.

My cats love this. They also love the salmon, chicken+salmon, ahi tuna, and all the "tuna on rice with ___" varieties. I calculated the % calories from protein (vs. from fat/carbs), because I'm looking for the cat food that has the highest %cals from protein. Of the five TikiCat varieties I checked out, Hawaiian grill has the highest %cal from protein, followed by Napili Luau and PukaPuka Luau. The "tuna on rice with __" do have some carbs, since they have rice in them, but I still feed them to my cats every now and then for variety (and because they're less expensive!). My cats love all the TikiCat varieties I've given them, and I feel comfortable feeding this brand of cat food to my cats, since I can see what it's made of, there's no weirdness on the ingredients panel, and everything I've heard about the company (Petropics) makes it sound like they're really environmentally conscious.

GreenLittleCat did a review of TikiCat, including a picture of what's inside the can. They also did a "natural cat food showdown" where they compared a bunch of natural cat food companies' environmental practices, and TikiCat won! Google them, since I feel uncomfortable linking to an outside site. (I have no affiliation with GreenLittleCat)

I have a pretty picky cat, but she loves this cat food. I love it too because it's in small cans, so the leftovers don't sit in the fridge for more than a day. No off flavors or smells get a chance to develop. My cat absolutely hates the pre-formed chunks, shreds, etc. She only likes natural fish flakes, and that's what this product provides. The only thing similar is Trader Joe's 100% tuna. It's a great buy, but you need to live near a Trader Joe's, and the cans are larger. So sometimes I'd have to throw out the leftover food because it didn't get eaten fast enough. A local pet store carried the Tiki Cat Ahi Tuna, so I was able to purchase it there. Sadly, they've stopped carrying it, but I'm happy to have found an internet source.
